Objectives
The Society for Health Sciences Education and Research (SHEAR) operates with the following aims and objectives:
> Cultivate and advance the study and practice of health sciences education and research.

Foster global social connections among health science researchers and educators.
- > Initiate and support scientific and medical research endeavors focusing on education, research, and skill enhancement.
- > Edit and publish research journals in the health science field to support and promote scholars and academics.
- > Organize seminars, symposia, conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and training programs to spotlight health sciences professions through publications.
- > Provide a platform for discussing issues pertinent to the growth and development of health science education and research.
- > Recognize outstanding academics, researchers, and young scientists contributing to the advancement of health science research and education.
- > Engage communities through diverse training programs to enhance knowledge and design modules and certificate programs for improved employability.
- > Promote educational and collaborative activities, partnering with academic institutions and industries of various disciplines.
- > Publish journals, books, magazines, documents, and other publications to advocate for the profession of health sciences education and research.
- > Sponsor regional, national, and international seminars, symposia, conferences, and exhibitions to champion the profession of health sciences.
- > To provide awards and bursaries to support scholars and individuals in need in attending conferences, workshops, meetings, and other professional development opportunities.
